The Fiber Splitter Box (FSB) is a component of a passive optical network (PON) that is used to build fiber to the home networks. The FSB is designed to provide a protected access point between the Distribution cable and individual Drop cables routed to each unit of an MDU. The FSB will contain splitter devices to split a signal before dropping the signal to each unit.
